Factors That Affect Fertility Treatment Costs

Several factors will affect your total treatment costs at our Nebraska fertility clinic. Some patients might require medications to improve their fertility and IVF, for example, whereas others will require donor eggs and a surrogate. Your unique fertility plan cost will be based on several factors such as:

Which procedure or procedures you need

During your consultation with one of our fertility experts, your doctor will help determine the best procedure or combination of procedures based on your particular needs. For example, if infertility has led to problems achieving a healthy pregnancy, we will likely start with diagnostic testing.

If you need donor egg or sperm

Patients who are unable to use their own eggs or sperm, single parents, and LGBTQ patients often turn to egg and sperm donors, which can affect the costs.

Whether you need a surrogate

Surrogate costs are separate from fertility treatment costs. This will vary widely depending on if your surrogate is being compensated or not. Additional costs may be incurred throughout the pregnancy process.

The number of cycles performed

If you are undergoing IVF or IUI to treat infertility, your fertility treatment is priced per cycle. Those who need more than one cycle will have higher total costs.

I cannot put into words how amazing the staff is at this clinic. They were on the ball through our entire IVF journey, with insanely fast calls back when it came to my questions, test results or even when I was just afraid and needed reassurance, and I was so sad to leave them when we switched to our OB. After nearly an 8 year infertility journey, we decided to go in for IVF, and after our second transfer we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. He's 7 months old now, and I just am so glad we walked into that clinic.
