IUI Costs

Did you know IUI or intrauterine insemination is less invasive and less expensive than IVF?

At Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine, we pride ourselves on transparent and affordable pricing. IUI treatment starts at $2,600.

Learn how our Omaha, NE, fertility center can help you achieve your dreams of growing your family.

Why Is IUI Less Expensive than IVF?

In vitro fertilization involves several complex steps to achieve pregnancy, including surgery. In contrast, IUI requires fewer procedures and typically does not involve any surgery. Most notably, IUI does not require egg retrieval and is timed with ovulation. Insemination is performed while the patient is awake using sperm from the father or donor sperm. With IUI, fertilization occurs inside the uterus where washed, concentrated sperm is carefully placed. This procedure simply enhances the natural process of ovulation, fertilization, and conception and has fewer risks and side effects than IVF.

IUI Costs

Our Omaha fertility center offers transparent and reduced pricing packages for cash-pay/self-pay patients. For those wishing to use fertility coverage with their health insurance plan, these prices may vary.
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) costs $650 and includes Sperm was and insemination, not including medications or purchase of donor sperm if needed. Monitoring for IUI or Timed Intercourse is $475 per visit, including labs and ultrasound and an outside monitoring coordination fee ($60 per visit).

We understand that budgets are a major factor when undergoing fertility treatment. It is important to note that no two treatments are the same, and testing and treatment costs will vary depending on your history and treatment plan.

What's the Difference Between
Stimulated and Unstimulated
and Which IUI Package Is Right for Me?

A stimulated intrauterine insemination cycle involves using medication to stimulate the ovaries. This produces more eggs and increases the chances of the patient becoming pregnant. However, keep in mind that stimulation can increase the chances of multiples.

Unstimulated IUI does not involve medication and insemination is performed around the woman's natural time of ovulation. During your consultation at our Omaha fertility clinic, your doctor will discuss all your options and your budget to help you make an informed decision.

Financing Available

To help make fertility treatments more accessible, our Omaha fertility center accepts ARC Fertility financing. This allows you to break the cost of your treatment into affordable monthly payments.
